Monica’s Motivational Moment: The Cost of Distractions

Distractions appear innocent as first, disguised as a harmless break, a few moments of mindless entertainment, or a quick connection with others by phone or social media. We reasoned that there is little harm in spending a few minutes taking our minds off our dreams or assisting someone else with their passion.

Before long, we are spending valuable energy focusing on anything and everything but our dreams. Before we say yes to a distraction, let us determine if it is worth the cost.
