During my radio interview, I searched Joe’s face for traces of resentment, anger, bitterness or a battered spirited. I found none. Joe says he refuses to allow broken levees, delays, or even thousands of stolen dollars due to contractor fraud to drown his faith or genuine belief in the goodness of others. “I wouldn’t change a thing,” Joe proclaimed. “It’s hard, but not impossible with God.”
